Chiapa de Corzo

Mudejar Fountain

This lively city, where history and tradition, cultures and colors are mixed, was called Chiapa de los Indios in the past. The colonial Chiapa de Corzo, laid out along the broad Grijalva River, buzzes with activity during the Great Feast in honor of Saint Sebastian, which is celebrated every year from January 8 to January 23.
